COMMUNITY groups in East Lancashire are being urged to bid for a share of almost £200,000 from Lancashire County Council’s Local Initiative Fund (LIF) scheme.
Now in its third year, the LIF scheme provides grants to voluntary, community and faith groups that carry out important work to help communities across Lancashire.
Groups can apply for grants of £1,000 to £5,000 to support their work and help to meet the county council's priorities.
For more information about the LIF Scheme and the application process, contact the council’s VCFS Grants Team on 01772 530 818 or visit www.lancashire.gov.uk and search for 'Local Initiative Fund'.
Bids for funding in the next round need to be in by Friday, April 26 at 5pm.
