THE people of the Ribble Valley will have to get used to sharing the borough following the Aviva Tour of Britain according to the local MP.
Nigel Evans has said that the race will increase the number of people coming to the area each year and that the residents will have to get used to new levels of tourism in the borough'.
He said: "I'm delighted that the race is coming to the Ribble Valley and it will showcase everything that is good about the area.
"It is a hidden gem for many of us but after the race it will be less hidden and we will have to deal with more people coming in.
"I welcome that as more people will mean more costume for our businesses which is great for everyone.
"The race coming to the borough can only be viewed as a good thing for everyone in the area."
