Craig Conway has announced he will be leaving Rovers this summer after five-and-a-half years.
Rovers announced earlier this month they remained in discussions with Conway over his future with his current deal set to expire at the end of June.
The 34-year-old, who made his 200th appearance for the club on the final day against Swansea, has announced on social media however that he won’t be extending his stay at the club for another year.
He wrote: “After five and a half years with this amazing club @rovers, I will be leaving.
“I have met the most amazing people and enjoyed many highs and only some lows in my time here. I would like to thank everyone at the club and the fans for the fantastic support they have shown me.
I wish you all the very best and hope to see @rovers back in the premier league where they belong in the near future.”
Conway signed for Rovers in January 2014 from Cardiff City and became an instant hit with the club's supporters.
He has been a mainstay of the side until this year where he made just nine Championship starts.
Conway is now free to find himself a new club, and is unlikely to be short of offers.
