Jason Steele 7
Made a flying stop from Neeskens Kebano but the other saves he made were comfortable. Given no chance by Tom Cairney for the winner.
Jason Lowe 6
Was nearly punished by the lively Kebano in the first half but grew stronger as the game wore on and made one key header.
Tommie Hoban 8*
Won more headers and made more interceptions than any other Rovers player, the debutant was good on the ball and impressed throughout.
Gordon Greer 6
Loses a mark after his weak clearance was punished by Cairney, the centre-back otherwise had a good game.
Derrick Williams 7
Like Hoban, the left-back impressed on his debut, defending soundly throughout and keeping Fulham’s marauding right-back quiet.
Craig Conway 6
Industrious as ever, he made the most tackles in a fully Rovers committed side, but did not have as much impact the other way.
Hope Akpan 7
Played well for the second match running, seeing an effort comfortably saved, although Scott Parker was the best midfielder on the pitch.
Danny Guthrie 7
Again took his chance to impress, he was missed after a clash of heads with Hoban forced him off the field.
Ben Marshall 6
Played a brilliant pass through to Danny Graham but wasted a free-kick opportunity and flitted in and out of the contest.
Sam Gallagher 6
Worked hard without reward, his second-half replacement Anthony Stokes saw a shot gathered at the second attempt.
Danny Graham 6
Put in a shift but will feel he should have tucked away one of the clear chances that came his way either side of half-time.
