ACCRINGTON Stanley maintained their 100 per cent record in League Two with victory at home to Port Vale tonight.
The Reds took the lead two minutes before half time as Karl Sheppard was felled by Port Vale keeper Chris Neal and Padraig Amond slammed home the penalty.
Ian Dunbavin was required to make a number of fine saves after the interval, while Sam Morsy headed against the post.
But Stanley made it six points out of six following Saturday’s win at Southend as substitute James Gray sealed victory three minutes into stoppage time.
