ACCRINGTON Stanley shrugged aside their financial problems to claim victory at Bury this afternoon thanks to two late goals from Bobby Grant.
The game looked set to end goalless only for Grant to put the Reds ahead with six minutes left and then add a second within the space of 60 seconds.
The first came when Grant flicked the ball over Ben Futcher's head before confusion between defender and goalkeeper Wayne Brown allowed Stanley's livewire to nip in and poke the ball into an empty net.
And the game was over when Michael Symes charged down Efe Sodje's clearance and squared for Grant to find the net from close range.
Stanley welcomed Dean Winnard back from injury but had to name three youngsters on the bench with several players still absent.
John Coleman's side produced an encouraging first-half display, although Paul Scott headed wide for Bury from Brian Barry-Murphy's corner in the opening stages.
But the Reds had a good chance to go ahead when the home side's offside trap went badly wrong, allowing Grant a free header from John Miles' free kick.
Grant put that effort wide and also just missed the target with a dangerous curling shot from the edge of the box.
Miles went equally close from 20 yards as he surged inside Scott but put his drive inches wide of the near post.
Stanley had a scare just before the interval as Phil Edwards had to clear Andy Bishop's shot off the line.
Bishop went close again early in the second half as he sliced the ball ovr the bar from Barry-Murphy's pass.
And the Bury striker somehow failed to score for a third time when he turned David Worrall's cross wide from little more than two yards.
Symes put a shot just wide for Stanley at the other end but Bury looked the more dangerous, with Ian Dunbavin making a double save from Simon Johnson and substitute Ryan Lowe, before Grant's late double.
