CHORLEY go to Harrogate Railway Athletic looking to get their campaign back on track.
The Magpies are without a win in four games but manager Steve Waywell has earmarked the next three to turn their fortunes around.
After Harrogate, Chorley face Ossett Albion and Rossendale United – all winnable games according to Waywell.
“These are all games we can realistically win and if we do then our season is back on track,” said the manager. “Our recent form has not be good for one reason or another but this is a great chance for us to turn things around.”
Waywell welcomes back Chris Mason after injury who, along with Chris Amadi, take up the leading scorer mantle of four goals following the departure of the free-scoring Terry Fearns.
And with Steve Burke, recently signed from Skelmersdale, a welcome addition to the strikeforce, Waywell believes Chorley can recover from losing their main striker.
“We’ve missed Terry but we have to move on,” added Waywell. “Chris is back after a number of games out and we have brought in Steve so hopefully we can score some goals.”
