CHORLEY'S hopes of reaching a second successive Lancashire FA United Co-operative Challenge Trophy were ended with a 3-1 home defeat to Skelmersdale.
The Magpies went ahead with a 12th-minute strike from Chris Smalley but two goals from Georgie Donnelly put the visitors ahead at half time.
Sean McConville then confirmed Chorley’s fourth defeat in a row midway through the second half.
