PRESTON North End winger Lewis Neal has joined League Two side Notts County on a month's loan.
Neil has been unable to break into the first team reckoning at Deepdale this season due to the continued good form of Chris Sedgwick and Ross Wallace on his preferred left flank.
So the former Stoke star has opted to follow the example of Joe Anyinsah (Brighton), Karl Hawley (Northampton) and Brett Ormerod (Oldham) who are currently plying their trade elsewhere in order to play senior football.
Neal, 27, is eligible to play for the Magpies in their FA Cup tie at Sutton United next weekend in what is his first stint on loan as a professional.
The temporary deal runs until Sunday 30th November.
