Tony Hesketh goes into tonight’s UniBond Challenge Cup first-round tie at Bamber Bridge with a good record against Chorley’s local rivals.
Hesketh will be taking charge of Chorley against Bamber Bridge for the first time but has had to wait an extra month for the game after the original fixture was postponed.
He said then: “I’m a Prestonian so I’m excited about playing them for the first time with Chorley.”
Magpies striker Adam Farrell will miss out.
