Chorley comfortably made it through to third round of the UniBond League President's Cup with a comfortable victory over one of manager Tony Hesketh's former clubs, Lancaster City.
The Magpies dominated the game managing to play good passing football despite the atrocious conditions and went ahead in the 18th minute with a well taken goal from Ashley Parillo n.
Lancaster rarely threatened and Chorley got a deserved second goal from Jordan Connerton on 60 minutes.
