CHORLEY manager Tony Hesketh has hailed teenage striker Jordan Connerton after a promising spell for the Magpies.
The 18-year-old extended the club’s unbeaten league run to four matches with the winner in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Harrogate.
And the youngster will look to make his mark against tonight as the Magpies host Lancaster City in the second round of the UniBond League President’s Cup.
“Jordan has come in for the last four or five games and done very well,” said the Magpies chief.
“He’s a powerful boy and I’m sure we’ll see more from him.”
