WATFORD boss Aidy Boothroyd had no complaints about their shock 1-0 defeat at Preston North End.
"We are very disappointed but we have had a great run and that is only our third defeat away from home," Boothroyd told the Watford Observer.
"If we bounce back the next time we are away then it won't be such a problem.
"We had more than enough chances to win that game," he continued.
"We counter attacked very well but were wasteful when we got down to their last three or four players.
"The ball fizzed across their box a number of times and we didn't get on the end of it.
"Preston deserved the win, I've got no complaints. I'm not going to make excuses, we were intermittent."
