CHORLEY boss Gerry Luczka is calling for a lionheart performance from his Magpies side tomorrow as they make the short trip to rivals Bamber Bridge.
The Victory Park side are still searching for their second league win of the campaign, but Luczka feels they are on the right track following heartening draws against Curzon Ashton and Clitheroe.
But a calf injury to key player Mark Drew is a major blow, with the midfielder joining Greg Traynor (hamstring) and Lee Shillito on the treatment table.
Luczka, however, has been boosted with the addition of Gavin-Lee Ellison, who scored against Clitheroe last Saturday, Liam Coyne and Mark McDonagh.
"The three new lads were big hits against Clitheroe," said Luczka.
"I'm looking to bring in a couple more players before tomorrow's game.
I've been really encouraged by our last two games where we've turned in two spirited performances."
