Chorley will be honoured on Saturday after the trio were named as November’s Evo-Stik League Premier Division club of the month.
Garry Flitcroft’s Magpies – chasing honours on two fronts in the Evo-Stik NLP’s top flight and in the FA Trophy’s second round – are celebrating winning the accolade for the second successive month after their previous win followed a triumphant October run.
League Operations Manager Alan Allcock will present the Premier Division’s winners with an inscribed certificate and 4.5litre bottle of whisky before they kick off against Barwell at Victory Park on Saturday.
Second-placed Chorley enjoyed a sensational month, winning all eight of their outings in four different competitions. In the league, Flitcroft’s side are just a point behind leaders Skelmersdale with three games in hand after taking maximum points from three games.
They also reached the FA Trophy’s Second Round with a 2-1 win over First Division North Curzon Ashton on Saturday and progressed in both the Doodson Sport Cup and Lancashire FA Trophy with victories over Kendal and Atherton Collieries respectively.
