EVO-STIK League Premier Division table-toppers Chorley take a break from league action as they head to Kendal Town in the Doodson Sports Cup second round tonight.
The Magpies hit the summit on Saturday after a 3-1 win over Stafford Rangers and will hope to secure a place in the next round of the cup against a Kendal side who are seventh in the division below.
Ramsbottom United, of the Evo-Stik League Division One North, bid to stretch their unbeaten run to 12 games when they host FC United in the same competition.
It will be a tough test for the Rams with United plying their trade a league above.
Clitheroe will be hopeful of progressing when they make the trip to a Radcliffe Borough side who are in the bottom two of the division.
Elsewhere, Bacup & Rossendale Borough will be targeting three points in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
Brent Peters’ side are only out of the bottom two on goal difference but they travel to the league’s basement boys who have lost their last six games.
A win could see Borough climb two places to 18th.
Barnoldswick Town are in West Riding County Cup second round action where they host Albion Sports.
