CHORLEY aim to continue their season of success tomorrow as they take top billing in the Northern Premier League for the match of the day with Netherfield.
The game at Windsor Park pits the locals, riding high in third spot, against the Cumbrians, who are a place ahead.
Chorley’s season is an amazing contrast from last year when they finished rock bottom – and professional Gaurav Dhar reckons they are bang on course for their pre-season aims.
“Our aim at the start of the season was for a safe, mid-table finish, so we can’t complain with where we are,” he said.
“All the team are doing pretty well, and now we’re there in fourth and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t look to finish the season as strongly as possible.
“Last season we got into the habit of losing, and it become really hard to turn round, because we’re a young team. It’s too early to start talking about turning the corner, but there has definitely been a change.”
