Chorley's bad run continued as Morecambe won at Windsor Park on Saturday.
Batting first Chorley managed 162-9 from their 50 overs with Michael Crutchley top scoring with 49.
James Reynard (29) and professional JJ Smuts (25) got good runs but Chorley’s middle order never really got going.
Ikram Ullah and Alex Thistlethwaite were both removed cheaply as Keiran McCullagh caused problems.
Mark Woodhead made 69 and Chris Williams scored 53 as Morecambe survived their own wicket wobble to get home with more than 13 overs to spare.
But it wasn’t quite plain sailing as Ian Oakes and Smuts sparked panic until a boundary from former Blackpool FC goalkeeper Lewis Edge took Morecambe over the line.
