CLAYTON-LE-MOORS Harrier David Nuttall was impressive in winning the Fiendsdale Fell Race.
The popular race in the Forest of Bowland attracted 72 runners and Nuttall was top of the tree, coming home in 57 minutes and 40 second, exactly half a minute clear of his nearest rival, Bowland’s Mike Johnson.
Sarah Sarginson, currently in formidable form took the ladies prize to go along with her win at Bleasdale two weeks prior, in a time of 1:10:34.
For Nuttall, he was just one of four men to register a sub-hour finish.
Clayton took second in the team standings, with Bowland top of the pile.
Nuttall’s club-mate Chris Balderstone was the best of the rest, finishing 11th overall in 1:04:11.
