Blackburn Harrier Ben Fish has finished 22nd at the recent Amsterdam Marathon, clocking 2:25:37 for the classic 26 miles 385 yards distance.
Fish has recently been in fine form and in September finished fifth in the Admiral Swansea Bay 10K Road Race while representing the North of England in an Inter Regional event.
Liona Riding from Blackburn Road Runners was also at Amsterdam for the first leg of her two marathons in eight days to raise money for Cancer Research.
Having recorded 3:51:59, she successfully made it two sub four hour marathons with 3:56:46 in Dublin last Monday.
