IF you’ve never tried the Through the Villages Race, this is the year to do it as it reaches the landmark 25th Anniversary on Sunday November 2.
The road race, nowadays sponsored by Sweatshop, starts at 10.30am and follows a circuit of eight miles and 781 yards from the Dressers Arms at Wheelton passing through Wheelton, Brinscall, Abbey Village and Withnell.
