Two local clubs fielded winning teams at the 24th Calderdale Way Relay on Sunday.
Clayton-le-Moors Harriers were the leading veterans and placed sixth outright of 112 teams.
The pairings of Mark Aspinall with Andy Stubbs, Ian Greenwood and Garry Wilkinson, Chris Balderson and Steve Whittaker, Mike Wallis and Dave Nuttall, John Roche with Paul Shackleton and Paul Archer and Tim Edward clocked six hours, 19 minutes and 25 seconds for the 50-mile circuit starting and finishing in Halifax.
Rossendale Harriers won the mixed class in 20th overall with the pairings of Josh Tighe with Phil Bolton, Sharon McGuire and Heather Corbishley, Emma Flanagan and Katie Ireland, Steve Clawson and Andy Preedy, Karen Taylor with Davina Raidy, and Andy Buttery with Andy Grenfell.
Their time was 6:58:51 and it was a winning debut for Emma and Katie as they reached the minimum age of 16 this year.
