Chorley Harriers women won the team prize in the Withins Skyline Fell Race at Haworth Moor in West Yorkshire.
Lynne Clough was second woman, clocking 51:37 for the seven-miler and was well supported by Nicola Raby and Anna Maria Crabtree, while over 45 veteran Janet Chaplin reduced her 2006 time by 12 minutes.
There was ill-fortune for the club's men though, with Dominic Raby, second at one stage, and John Sutton, both losing ground after drifting off course.
Todmorden's Alex Whittem was second in 43:52, but by rights should have won.
The 17-year old England international Tom Addison didn't turn round with the other under 18s and went on to race and beat all the seniors, but the organisers and the other runners decided jointly not to disqualify him.
Withins organisers Dave and Eileen Woodhead, who took the photographs at the BOFRA races featured on this page have just started their own website www.woodentops.org.uk.
