Alison Leonard has won the Les Rogerson Memorial Trophy -awarded to the most outstanding Lancashire athlete over the last year.
The trophy remains in Blackburn Harriers' hands after steeplechaser Chris Hart was honoured last year.
The highlight of Leonard's season was winning the silver medal in the 800 metres at the IAAF World Youth Games at Ostrava in the Czech Republic, while over the course of the summer she reduced her personal best to 2:04.86 to rank her fourth in the world for her age.
It is her second major honour, having already won an Outstanding Achievement Award from the On Camp with Kelly' organisation fronted by Dame Kelly Holmes. Leonard was presented with the Les Rogerson Trophy by Alan Seddon at the AGM of the Lancashire Athletic Association.
