Saturday will go down as one of the hottest fixtures on record at the Crown Ground as the sun shone and the crowd watched a cracking game of football.
After Saturday’s match there can be no doubt that Paul Cook and Leam Richardson are determined to make Stanley very hard to beat.
While some of the crowd were not over enamoured with the ball continually being passed across the Stanley midfield and back four, the opposition cannot hurt you if they do not have the ball.
The goal when it came was another cracker from that man Amond who was on the end of a quality spell of Stanley passing play.
The Bradford team was full of big name players and they had certainly done their homework on the Reds making the first half a frustrating watch for the Clayton End.
Once again Cook proved what a good manager he is with his half time motivation and change of tactics the Reds dominated the second half.
A draw was a fair result and with 10 points on the board after five games the future looks bright for the young Stanley squad.
