Accrington Girls and Ladies FC are looking for new players – and are running weekly training sessions.
The sessions run every Tuesday night at Foxhill Bank Playing Fields, Harvey Street, Oswaldtwistle and are for girls and ladies aged from five to adult.
The sessions are open to everyone regardless of ability and this is a great opportunity to try out the largest female participant sport in the country at the area’s only all-girl club.
All the club’s coaches are CRB checked and are all at least Level One qualified.
The emphasis of the sessions is on having fun while getting fit, learning new skills and meeting new friends.
The club runs several teams at various age groups so players have a chance to take part in competitive matches if they chose.
The club was recently awarded Hyndburn Sports Club of the Year and are always on the lookout for new members.
The sessions for players aged between five and 15 run from 6pm to 7pm and for players aged 16 upwards from 7pm until 8.30pm.
