BURNLEY manager Eddie Howe is expected to name an unchanged side for tomorrow’s trip to Blackpool, although there is positive news on the injury front.
Jay Rodriguez (groin), Martin Paterson (hamstring) and Ben Mee (fractured back) have all been sidelined since last month.
But Howe hopes at least two could feature at some stage in the last two games.
“There are a couple close. A couple have really improved during the week and we've had good news on a couple of scans,” said the Burnley boss, who was reluctant to name names ahead of tomorrow’s derby at Bloomfield Road.
“We'll wait and see.
“A couple aren't too far away, although I don't know if they will be involved this weekend.”
Howe will also assess the fitness of captain Chris McCann after he limped off in the goalless draw at Leicester City.
“He got a knock to his calf in two places. We'll wait and see whether he's fit,” he said.
