THE 2012 Palace Shield swings into action tomorrow – but it is a season that will not feature Ribchester CC.
The club quit the league over the winter and have now folded after a nomadic few years which has seen them play at Stoneyhurst College, Chipping and Blackburn Northern.
The area’s one top flight club Longridge entertain BAC/EE Preston, while Hoghton kick off their Division One campaign tomorrow as they welcome Fulwood and Broughton seconds to Smithy Brow.
White Coppice travel to Eccleston.
