BARROWFORD kick off their Craven League campaign tomorrow and aim to put their off-field issues behind them when they face Bradley at Bull Holme.
The Villagers are in dispute with Pendle Council over an electricty bill and are heading to court – but they will concentrate on the cricket as they face a Bradley side who narrowly avoided the drop from the league’s top flight last term.
Thornton-in-Craven are the area’s other representative in Division One and they have signed ex-Earby and Barnoldswick wicketkeeper Matt Garner. They travel to Haworth Road Methodists.
Division Two boasts both Pendle Forest and Foulridge, who won the Wynn Cup last term. Forest welcome Wilsden to Old Laund Booth, while Foulridge, who have signed bowler John Lambert from Colne, are on their travels to Long Lee.
Chatburn begin their season in Division Three with a home clash with Haworth RM seconds.
