LESS than 48 hours after reaching a third cup final in 12 years and with that North West Counties League Challenge Cup tie on his mind, Bacup Borough boss Brent Peters rested seven men for the league trip to Alsager Town and were left frustrated as the Staffordshire side fought back for a 2-2 draw.
Bacup were in command through goals from Arjoms Butorins and Kingsley Williams only for Town to level with strikes on 78 and 81 minutes to leave the locals frustrated.
Under Peters, Borough reached the Second Division Trophy Cup Final in 2000/01, the League Challenge Cup Final in 2003/04 and are all set to face either Norton or Maine Road in the League Challenge Cup Final on May 3 at Tameside Stadium.
