PAULA Walker will be hoping to take her recent good form in to the World Championships in Lake Placid later today.
The Blackburn bobsleigh ace completed her World Cup campaign in Calgary last weekend where she recorded a season’s best sixth place.
Now the former world junior champion will be aiming for a similar finish over two days and four runs on the world famous New York track with brakesman Gillian Cooke.
The 25-year-old, the GB number one pilot, had mixed success during her World Cup campaign where she secured five top 10 places but had to settle for 11th place in the overall rankings.
Kristan Bromley will also be in Lake Placid where he competes in his 13th skeleton World Championship.
