BLACKBURN Rovers cruised into the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup with victory over 10-man Stoke City at Ewood Park tonight.

Stoke lost Jordon Richardson to a red card in the fifth minute and Rovers were in front when Curtis Haley lobbed the ball into the net to round off a good move six minutes later.

Hugo Fernandez then made it 2-0 in the 13th minute and Reece Hands put Rovers in total command with a third goal before half time.

Fernandez added his second to make it 4-0 with a minute remaining and earn Rovers a quarter final tie against Newcastle or QPR.
