ROSSENDALE Colts are just one game away from winning the Senior Colts League C title after running in six tries in a classy win at Burnage.
Will Sharratt ran in the first try after good work from Matt Fenner.
Hooker Jamie Milton scampered over for a second before some direct running and swift handling from inside their own half resulted in Jack Crowder going over in the corner.
And the half ended with scrum half Fraser Chadwick scoring his first of the season.
Sharratt added two conversions to give Dale a healthy lead.
The leaders added two more tries in the second half, Matthew Ringland powering over before Nicholas Street made a scoring return from injury.
* ROSSENDALE U12s returned to action after a seven-week break and came up against an in-form Aspull side, losing 33-7. Jordan Fortune scored Dale’s only try of the game after good play by Isaac Cornwall, converted by PJ Butler. Ciaran Campbell was named man-of-the-match.
