BLACKBURN Rovers have confirmed that manager Steve Kean has signed a revised contract with the club.
Rovers have released a statement insisting that Kean's current deal, which currently lasts until 2013, has not been extended.
But the Scot's contract has been revised following an agreement during the summer.
The Rovers statement said: "Following recent media speculation Blackburn Rovers FC can confirm a revision to manager Steve Kean's existing contract has been completed.
"An agreement made in the summer has now been formalised.
"Contrary to some reports there is no change to the length of the contract.
"The club respects that all contracts are private and confidential, and no further comment will be made."
