BLACKBURN Rovers boss Steve Kean fears skipper Chris Samba is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after seeing his side lose 1-0 to Chelsea this afternoon.
Samba limped off just before half time with a hamstring injury as Rovers were again left to rue missed opportunities after matching Chelsea for long periods.
Kean, who insisted he had not seen the plane flying over Ewood Park with the banner 'Steve Kean out', remains confident his side's luck will change though.
He said: "It looks a bad one for Chris. We will have to look at that on Monday but it doesn't look good.
"I can't fault the lads today, like I haven't been able to in the last few games, we just didn't get what we deserved.
"I have told the lads to get their heads up because if we keep playing like that, we will get ourselves out of this position."
