BURNLEY picked up their first win of the season in North Lancs One in their first home game.
And scrum half Mark Hanson marked his first team debut with a try and a helping hand in two other tries.
Burnley, who opened their campaign with a 17-12 defeat at Birchfield, had to come from behind to taste victory for the first time.
But after going 5-0 down, a period of pressure from the home team’s forwards saw Hanson dart over to the score and Dom Leck added the extras.
But Manchester hit back to regain the lead with their second try only for Burnley to level before the break, Hanson playing his part as second row Matthew Calvert powered over. After the break, Burnley began to take control and Leck kicked a penalty to put them ahead for the first time.
The half backs then combined for a third try, Leck going over after good work from Hanson to sealed the win.
