BURNLEY have decided not to retain the services of professional Imad Wasim for next season.

The former Pakistan U19 captain has scored 690 runs and taken 37 wickets during his season at Turf Moor.

But Burnley have struggled on the field this term and are third from bottom of the table with just six wins to their name.

And they took the decision this week to look elsewhere for 2012.

Burnley’s decision means they along with Haslingden, Nelson, Colne and Bacup will definitely be looking for new pros for next season.

Ramsbottom have not decided whether to offer terms to Shanan Stewart and it is a similar story with Rawtenstall and Nilantha Cooray.
