Blackburn boss Steve Kean has confirmed he expects El-Hadji Diouf to leave the club this summer.
Diouf has not been taken on Rovers' trip to Hong Kong and instead has been left a personal training programme.
The Senegalese midfielder reported back for pre-season more than two weeks late earlier this week as he looks for a move away from the club.
Diouf has already been fined but not being included in Rovers’ Hong Kong plans is the latest sign neither party believe he has a future at Ewood Park.
Rovers are reluctant to let the 30-year-old leave for nothing, with a year still left on his contract, but are struggling to find potential buyers for him.
"I think it's probably the time for El-Hadji," Steve Kean told Sky Sports News.
"But it will depend on who is interested.
"It depends on what happens with the offers that come in."
Kean insisted there remain a number of clubs with interest in the former Liverpool man.
