STRIKER Chris O’Grady is not a summer transfer target for Burnley.
The 6ft 3ins Rochdale front man was this week linked with a move to Turf Moor.
But, although Burnley are in the hunt for a forward, I understand there is no interest from Clarets boss Eddie Howe.
Sheffield Wednesday have already had two offers turned down by League One Rochdale this summer, the biggest thought to be £250,000.
A figure in the region of £500,000 would be enough to tempt the Spotland outfit into a sale.
Howe is understood to have been offered O’Grady, while in charge of Bournemouth, as a part-exchange with then Cherries defender Jason Pearce but declined.
