BLACKBURN Rovers lead at half time in this afternoon's pre-season friendly against Accrington Stanley at Morecambe's Globe Arena.
Accrington almost took the lead early on when a misplaced backpass from Martin Olsson played in Reds trialist Kurtis Guthrie, but his weak shot was saved by Paul Robinson.
Rovers were in front in the 15th minute, though, as Keith Andrews played a one-two with Kalinic and rifled home from 15 yards.
Robinson had to save a fierce 25-yard effort from Charlie Barnett at the other end before Junior Hoilett felt an injury and was taken off as a precaution.
