BLACKBURN Rovers are hoping to complete the signings of Argentinian striker Mariano Pavone and Monaco defender Cedric Mongongu before they go on tour.
Both deals are yet to be finalised, with some paperwork still to be completed, but the club are optimistic that the signings will go through in the near future.
Mongongu is prepared to turn down French champions Lille to join Rovers, while Pavone – a free agent after leaving Real Betis – is also said to have attracted interest from Italian side Catania as well as Lanus in his homeland.
Rovers winger Aaron Doran, 20, has joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a permanent deal after spending the second half of last season on loan with the SPL side.
