CLITHEROE are looking to get back to winning ways tomorrow with a tough match against Gresley Rovers.
Chris Stanners' side slumped to a 4-2 defeat during the week, finishing with just nine men, as Cammell Laird took top spot in the league.
But he defended his players and said he couldn't fault their effort.
"Win, lose or draw, if the lads keep performing like they have been then I've not got a problem with them," he said.
And he is looking forward to taking Tuesday night's frustrations out on Rovers.
"It'll be another difficult game but I couldn't wish for a better game after Tuesday. "
Stanners will be able to pick Simon Garner and Jason Jones, despite their red cards during the week, although left back Owen Roberts is struggling with a knee injury.
