HANDS ON Martin Paterson takes a breather during training at Gawthorpe
IT was a gruelling day for Eddie Howe’s Clarets as they returned for pre-season training today.
Burnley were back in full swing at their training base at Gawthorpe under the watchful eye of manager Howe.
His entire squad were on the training ground including Alex MacDonald and Chris McCann, who both signed new deals with the Turf Moor club earlier this week.
The players were put through their paces with a long-distance run, while they got through a series of stretching exercises before getting their feet on a ball.
