REFORMED Nelson will kick-off their North West Counties League First Division campaign with a home game against Irlam.
League bosses have announced fixtures for the first week of the season and the Admirals, who have been accepted back into the league a year after pulling out, kick off their campaign against the Manchester outfit at Victoria Park on Saturday, August 6.
Three days later they are on the road to Rochdale Town. Also in the First Division, AFC Darwen begin the season at home to Ashton Town, while they go to Abbey Hey on August 9.
In the Premier Division Barnoldswick aTown entertain Maine Road at the Silentnight Stadium, while Bacup go to Congleton, Padiham travel to Runcorn Town, Ramsbottom are on the road to St Helens Town and Colne are at Winsford United.
Ramsbottom’s first home game is on August 9 when they entertain Glossop And Colne go to Squires Gate on the same night.
There is a flurry of action on Wednesday, August 10, as Bacup Borough host Maine Road at West View, Padiham host AFC Blackpool and Barnoldswick travel into Yorkshire for their game at Silsden.
