LANCASHIRE League leaders Todmorden collide with reigning champions Ramsbottom today with not only league points but a psychological advantage at stake ahead of Sunday’s Worsley Cup semi-finals.
Just 24 hours after the Acre Bottom clash, the pair do it all again at Centre Vale in the last four of the Worsley Cup.
The game promises much with Ramsbottom skipper Jonathan Fielding in form and coming up against Todmorden pro Qaiser Abbas, who is taking wickets galore.
James Morgan and Danny Brown replace Joe Whitehead and Oliver Wood to enable Todmorden to name their strongest team for the trip, while Ramsbottom are also at full strength.
Lowerhouse are without Jonathan Finch as they aim to keep up the pressure as they go to Enfield.
The House are second in the table but will miss the star all-rounder, who is replaced by Chris Bleazard.
Accrington are in third place but Stuart Crabtree, Graeme Sneddon, Liam Brankin and Mitch Taylor are missing so Jon Hayhurst, Matt Schofield, Bryn Hargreaves and Andy Greenwood come in for the trip to Burnley.
Burnley pro Imad Wasim is back in action after being involved in a T20 tournament in Pakistan and and skipper Steve Brunt replaces Michael Brown as the Turf Moor side aim for back-to-back wins.
Church welcome Bacup to West End with Manazer Mehmood replacing Mohammed Jamil, while Joe Sipocz plays for Bacup on place of Tim Farragher.
Nelson are without Stuart Lemon as they travel to Rawtenstall. Lemon is replaced by Chris Heap.
Rawtenstall are back up to strength and make four changes with captain Vinny Hanson, Andrew Payne, Andy Riley and Dean Barlow returning to the team for the clash in place of Sam Excell, Matt Kershaw, Dan Guest and Matt Barnes.
Fourth-placed Haslingden are at East Lancs without the injured Jack Sudworth.
But they are in good form and will look to inflict more pain on the struggling home side, who bring in Adam Chester in place of Matt Egan.
Rock-bottom Rishton go to 13th-placed Colne aiming for a first win of the campaign and have borrowed Darwen professional Mohammad Zaman Khan for the trip.
BURNLEY v ACCRINGTON
Burnley welcome back professional Imad Wasim after he spent time playing in a domestic Twenty20 tournament in Pakistan and skipper Steve Brunt replaces club chairman and Surrey opener Michael Brown.
Jon Hayhurst, Matt Schofield, Bryn Hargreaves and Andy Greenwood come in for Accrington.
Key man: Qasim Ali. Verdict: Accrington.
CHURCH v BACUP
Church name a strong side with Manazer Mehmood replacing Mohammed Jamil, while Andrew Bentley will look for more wickets after joining the 400 club last week.
Bacup will field a substitute professional for the game at Worsley Cup semi-finalists Church and bowler Joe Sipocz comes into the side in place of the unavailable Tim Farragher.

COLNE v RISHTON
Darwen’s Mohammad Zaman Khan stands in as sub professional for Colne with Saleem Quereshi, Tayyib Jamil and David Hoyle also replacing Jeff Ellis, Lewis Rimmer and Sam Tillotson.
Rishton field South African spinner Gulam Bodi as sub pro and bring in Irfan Muhammed and Ben Bridson for Luke McVarish and Matthew Nuttall.

EAST LANCS v HASLINGDEN
East Lancs drop wicketkeeper Matt Egan for the game with Haslingden.
He is replaced by AFC Darwen goalkeeper Adam Chester and David Turner returns in place of Mo Bhada as East Lancs look to lift their spirits.
Jack Sudworth is injured so Haslingden bring in Sam Kershaw, while Matt Griffin replaces Charlie Hamilton.

ENFIELD v LOWERHOUSE
Zahir Afzal replaces Aneeq Hassan in the Enfield team for the game with in-form Lowerhouse.
Adam Bracewell’s men are strong for the Dill Hall Lane clash.
Lowerhouse are second going into the game but are without their star all-rounder Jonathan Finch.
Finch is working and is replaced by veteran batsman Chris Bleazard.

RAMSBOTTOM v TODMORDEN
Ramsbottom are unchanged for their Worsley Cup semi-final dress rehearsal with Ramsbottom with Andy Hakin replaced in the team by Tim Le Breton, who will step down ahead of Sunday’s Worsley Cup semi-final re-match.

RAWTENSTALL v NELSON
Rawtenstall make four changes from their defeat at Todmorden last weekend as skipper Vinny Hanson, Andrew Payne, Andy Riley and Dean Barlow return to the sie in place of Sam Excell, Matt Kershaw, Dan Guest and Matt Barnes.
Chris Heap replaces Stuart Lemon in an otherwise full strength Nelson team.
