Burnley have had THREE more fixtures changed for the 2011/12 season.
The Clarets’ trip to Cardiff City has been put back 24 hours to Sunday, March 18 (kick-off 3pm), at the request of South Wales police to avoid a fixture clash.
Wales host France in the Six Nations at the nearby Millennium Stadium on the Saturday.
This alteration has had a knock-on effect for the trip to Ipswich, which will now be played on Wednesday, March 21 (kick-off 7.45pm).
The following month, Burnley’s home game against newly promoted Brighton has been brought forward to Good Friday - April 6 (kick-off 3pm).
That means Howe’s men will play two games in four days over Easter, as they make the trip to Doncaster Rovers on April 9.
The latest alterations to the fixture list follow Burnley’s home game against Leeds United moving to a 12.45pm kick-off on November 19 for live television coverage.
Meanwhile their scheduled trip to newly-relegated Birmingham City on August 16 has been postponed as a result of the Blues’ Europa Cup commitments.
A new date for this game has yet to be confirmed.
