SOUTH African one-day international ace Gulam Bodi will stand-in for the Lancashire League’s bottom side Rishton on Saturday as they travel to second bottom Colne.
Rishton, who have not won in the league this season and have collected just seven bonus points, have been fielding substitute professionals since South African Cameron Delport was forced to return home with a damaged finger.
Colne will also field a sub-pro in the clash at The Horsfield – and have taken advantage of Darwen’s Northern League inactivity by hiring Birch Hall paid man Mohammad Zaman Khan.
Colne professional Mansoor Amjad is currently in Pakistan playing in a Twenty20 tournament. He arrives back in this country on July 6.
Burnley will also field a sub-pro as Imad Wasim is playing in the same tournament.
