ACCRINGTON Stanley striker Terry Gornell is in Scotland for talks with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The SPL side released a statement saying they had signed Gornell, including quotes from the striker, but swiftly withdrew it.
Sources in Scotland expect him to sign today, although Inverness have limited funds and Stanley believe they are entitled to a fee.
The Reds are at serious risk of losing a number of key players, with boss John Coleman yesterday holding face-to-face talks with midfielder Jimmy Ryan in a bid to talk him out of signing for Scunthorpe.
