BURNLEY are shaping up for the new season with a new indoor training facilities and gym.
Clarets boss Eddie Howe has already overseen the start of upgrades to the club’s training headquarters at Gawthorpe this summer, and now he is pushing through plans for the vacant Turf Moor leisure centre to be transformed into an elite gym with 3G training surface which will benefit all age groups.
Howe, right, said: “My first impression, since coming in, is that the facilities needed a little bit of love.
“I have been fortunate that the board have been supportive in that quest.
“Having a new gymnasium will be massive because we didn’t have that luxury last year.”
