BURNLEY will be among Accrington Stanley’s potential opponents when the draw for the first round of the Carling Cup is announced tomorrow.
Stanley will be unseeded in the northern section of the draw. They have often faced the Clarets in pre-season and assistant boss Jimmy Bell had been hoping to combine a friendly with his testimonial, but he is now looking elsewhere for an opponent after Burnley finalised their fixture list.
